It seems since the last update that ranged using mercs simply have 0% hit chance. my lvl 50 merc has 100% attack chance. and while using ANY ranged weapon NEVER hits. i've tested this with about 25 bolts and 25 arrows. they refuse to hit. They still fire the arrows/bolts and lose them of course.
Also, the bug where they refuse to shoot is still happening.
More specifically, if i log in, or give a merc a new ranged weapon they refuse to actually do more then run with it until i've had them report to a melee weapon and attack. I can then use "report" and switch them to a ranged weapon and they attempt to operate fine. (of course the top bug still prevents them from hitting)

I have had a lot of success with ranged mercs since switching to a bow with a range of 10. I think the problem might be with the AI trying to use a minimum distance to engage mobs/players that is on the border of their weapons range.

It seems now that archery works again except when mercs are mounted. then it's always a miss. Is this on purpose? If it is...can we add mounted archery to the list of trainable feats FOR a merc? I mean...they run slow as SIN as is...
