With the new map coming I have decided to dedicate a character to the honorable teaching and research profession. He will be living in the Alyrian village but will be doing a large part of his research and study in the Imperial city and its Academy.
I wanted to see if anyone was interested in creating a character that would be willing to dedicate to such a path such as writing books, doing research, and teaching classes. This will be a time consuming and a purely role play task but should be quite interesting and exciting for all. If anyone is interested please let me know and we can come up with some concepts and ideas.
If enough are interested I may even apply for a formal guild, just let me know.
(P.S. Hot female lab assistants get extra credit haha)

My char is going to oversee the artsy part of the Vhalurian Academy, so we'll likely have a lot to talk about.

I'd love to work closely with you on that if you had time Eufron. I'd like to add a "culture" type of concept that has been largely over looked.
Such as actually famous authors/artists.

I refuse to share my fangirlism of Peter Flynn with you or anyone Garrious. I am president of that fan club!

Does this imply the scholar class? Or just a role?

Luckily the academy takes most who are skilled. Crafter classes of some type are more likely to thrive than non-crafter classes.
