Notable Characters
Calebros, Venator of Clan Khel'dar
Calebros, said to be somewhere in his 50’s, is rather disfigured and hairless. Rumours say he
had some sort of accident at K’dath-Mal’s lava flows sometime in his youth. Known to be quite zealous in his
beliefs and the spiritual growth of his people, he is, however, one of the few who truely avoided getting swept
up in picking sides during the Mhordul Civil War, and firmly held to his practice of helping any and all Mhordul
who needed it, regardless of their personal or political views at the time. After the fall of K’dath-Mal, it was
the survivors of Clan Kheldar, led by Calebros, who lay claim to the previously military forts nearby and
established encampments to aid and assist the surviving Mhordul however they could.
Odran, Venator of Clan Jhyral
Odran was Kataur of K’dath-Mal and also became Venator of Clan Jhyral relatively briefly before the
outbreak of the Civil War. He is known for being a skilled crafter, but is mostly famous for having lost an arm in
training during his youth, which prevented him from becoming a warrior. Oddly enough, that did not seem to disturb
him much, or at least he never lets anyone know it has. Even those that known him personally say that Odran is a bit
distant, although incredibly zealous about his people and their well-being, often giving out weapons and armour
without charging his peers anything for them. This attitude carried over after the fall of K’dath-Mal, when Odran
and his clan worked together somewhat with Clan Khel’dar to establish some form of stability for their disoriented
people, utilizing another of the nearby forts to create a trading post. Ensuring that while the Clans of Khel’dar
and Jhyral may work together, each has their own space.
Khagram, Venator of Clan Cor'thak
Khagram is very handsome, calm and collected. Well, for Mhordul standards at least. Youngest of the
Venators at around 25, he always has his dire wolf handy, almost seeming to prefer its company to most people’s.
He was usually the one trying to calm people down in meetings during the war, though he was obviously not as successful
as he would have liked. Khagram is known to often head out on long rides by himself. Considered brave by his peers,
foreigners talk about him as "almost pleasant to deal with". Due to the Civil War, the numbers of Clan Cor’thak have
dropped dramatically, though the clan still remains under the leadership of Khagram. Never in one place for any great
length of time, Khagram and his Clan often ride to and from other clans or solitary Mhordul, trying to keep some form
of communication open between his splintered people.
